What you need:
2 kilograms chicken wings, tips discarded and sliced into two at the joint
3 onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup dark syrup
1/2 cup packed sugar
1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
1/3 cup reduced sodium soy
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Dash of cayenne pepper
Cilantro for garnishing
Mix together onions, garlic, syrup , sugar , soy sauce, ground black pepper and cayenne pepper during a bowl. Pour mixture during a large sealable bag then add chicken wings to the bag. Shake bag to coat wings with mixture. Seal and refrigerate for a minimum of half-hour . When ready, remove wings from bag and discard excess marinade. Cook marinated chicken on a pre-heated grill over medium-high heat for five minutes per side or until cooked through. Allow to chill for a couple of minutes. Serve topped with cilantro.

What you need:
1 1/2 kilograms chicken wings, tips discarded and sliced into two at the joint
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup spread
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons vinegar
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons sauce
2 tablespoons soy
2 teaspoons chilli paste
1 teaspoon toasted vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon finely minced garlic
Chopped peanuts
Combine sugar , spread , water, vinegar , soy sauce, chilli paste, vegetable oil and garlic during a bowl. Set aside. Toss the wings in oil and sauce then cook on a pre-heated grill over medium high heat until cooked through. Allow to chill for a couple of minutes. When ready, place grilled chicken during a bowl and pour half the peanut sauce over chicken. Toss to coat wings with the mixture evenly. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts and serve with remaining peanut sauce.
